True story from my exam last year. Due to sensitivities, I was mildly conscious from time to time. The doc says, "Well, we're half done now!"I answered (in groggy voice): "Oh .... we're at the semicolon."
I guess if we were born with transparent skin, we would be used to it like any other aspect of our bodies. But imagine if you woke up one day to find that you had see-through skin: it would be totally disturbing to see, really see, that all we are is just a bunch of squishy organs!
