There are 70 mountains in the continental US that are at least 14,000 feet high (I can see one of them from my window!). How many of these are more than 14,500 feet high?
I haven't checked the answer yet, but I know Mt. Shasta is taller than all the ones in Colorado, and I think Whitney is the only one that stands a chance. That said, I don't think it is higher than 14,500, so I'll say zero, pretty certain that I cannot be off by more than one.
