Ms. Vosper does not believe in the Virgin Birth, the Resurrection, the miracles and the sacrament of baptism. Nor does she believe in the creeds, the presence of Christ in communion or that Jesus was the Son of God.Ms. Vosper is an ordained minister. It appears that she hopes to replace Christianity with Nothing-Ianity or perhaps just Ianity or how 'bout Inanity.
In With or Without God, her book that was formally launched this week, she writes that Jesus was a "Middle Eastern peasant with a few charismatic gifts and a great posthumous marketing team."

This is what happens...
... when there is no longer any such thing as heresy.

Sounds like she hopes to sell a few books, too.
I will stick with Emmanuel ---
So, the absence of "any such thing as heresy" (that'd be news to Rome, don't you think?): is that a good thing or a bad thing?
If only the Church had used a little "enhanced interrogation" on the likes of Luther and Darwin...sweet!
Book selling, yes this is a rather relevant comment.
Christian heresy has little meaning if you don't believe it. This can be read both ways. I'm glad the churches have less power to kill and silence it.
